It is important that your dog has basic manners and why not make it fun.

Make training a game, use reward and have a laugh.

Training classes are a good social way to train, you can teach as much or little as you like.

Basic are vital though, not to jump up to recall when asked and lead work make life easier.

I’m meeting loads of new people and dogs, going to Mum’s classes on Saturday again, that was fun.

Get to have a play with the other dogs, wasn’t sure but did enjoy it. Learning loads walking, recall, sit, down, stand and leave. Getting cheeky now keep stealing things and running off LOL!!! Leads are best, I like stealing Pickle’s best.

Then staying with Grandma on Sunday as Mum and friends are raising money for Guide Dogs that help blind people.

I am now meeting new people and dogs.

I met a child this week and Mum was very pleased as I didn’t nip or jump up.

I met a lot of dogs playing at same time that was scary at first but good.

Went to work with Mum loved it.

I didn’t know the world was such a big place. wow!!!!

Colder weather

Be prepared for the colder weather.

Make sure that antifreeze and other chemicals are not accessible for your pet.

Make sure you clean rock salt off their feet.

Watch out for snow attaching to the fur.

Stress

Stress in owners and dogs is not good.

Patience is at an all time low, body language is different.

Reducing stress issues makes owners and dogs able to think clearly and make good decisions.

If owners understand why the dog does what it does this reduces the issue.
