Dog trainers tips Leeds

As I drove around the streets of Leeds this morning I am concerned by how many dogs are off the lead on roads. They may be well trained but what if a cat appears , they are startled by something and end up in the road.

The dog ends up injured or worse dead, and you as well if you try and save them. Please if they are well trained walk them on a lead for safety.

Post Christmas blues

This effects people but dogs too. As you are going back to work and your holiday is over, think of your dog having to get use to being alone again. Treat them to new games or stuff a kong or leave them an activity ball to keep them occupied.

You could also treat them to a personal dog walker, ask friends for recommendations, make sure they are CRB checked and fully insured. This could make your furry friend happy and break ...

Animal communication

This is the hot topic today after the horse communication last night and her accurate diagnosis of Mummy’s pregnancy.

So it’s not that the animal is having a proper conversation but is communicated though, thoughts, feelings and senses, practice makes perfect. Everyone with an animal is doing it you just don’t know you are doing it or haven’t  honed the skill.

As a dog trainer you have to be realistic, people are exercising their dogs less in bad weather. This increases your dogs naughtiness, that is why teaching your dog retrieve or mind games and assistance work at home exercises the brain so they are more content and keeping their waistlines trimmer.
