Take them walking early so they are tired loads of great dog friendly places in West Yorkshire. Protect them from firework noise and turn the TV up or play music to mask some of the noise. Don’t leave your dog in alone get someone to dog sit for you company is a good stress reducer. Give your four legged friend a new chew, stuffed kong or bone to distract them from the noises. ...

Christmas safety for your dog

Enjoy your Christmas, but make sure your dog is safe.

  • Christmas plants are TOXIC so keep Holly, Mistletoe and Poinsettias away from your dog.
  • Chocolate is always a NO NO as it is very harmful, make sure your pooch does not raid the chocolate decorations off the tree.
  • Make sure your Christmas lights are placed so that your canine friend can not chew the cords.
